A major outdoor music festival organizer in the Orlando area approached Pure Clean Porta Potty Rental with an ambitious request: provide complete portable sanitation coverage for a 3-day, multi-stage music festival expecting over 5,000 attendees at a large open-air venue east of Orlando.
The festival grounds spanned approximately 40 acres with four performance stages, a food vendor village, a VIP lounge area, and overnight camping sections. The organizer needed a restroom plan that could handle peak crowd surges between headliner sets, maintain cleanliness across three days of continuous use, and comply with local health department requirements — all during a hot Central Florida weekend in late spring.

Working closely with the festival's operations team, we developed a comprehensive portable sanitation plan that included a strategic mix of unit types and placement clusters.
Unit Breakdown
- 65 standard portable restrooms — Distributed across 8 restroom clusters positioned near each stage and along main walkways
- 8 ADA-compliant portable restrooms — One at each restroom cluster for full accessibility
- 12 portable hand wash stations — Paired with restroom clusters and placed near the food vendor village
Strategic Placement
We positioned restroom clusters within a 2-minute walk of every major gathering area. Larger clusters (10-12 units) were placed near the main stage and food village where foot traffic was heaviest. Smaller clusters (6-8 units) served secondary stages and the camping area.
Every cluster included at least one ADA-compliant unit and one hand wash station, ensuring accessibility and hygiene regardless of where attendees were on the grounds.
Servicing Schedule
For a 3-day festival of this scale, daily servicing was essential. Our team performed full service twice daily — once in the early morning before gates opened, and once in the late afternoon during a scheduled break in performances. This meant 6 total service visits across the weekend, with each visit including pump-out, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of all 85 units.
The Results
The festival was a resounding success from a sanitation perspective:
- Zero restroom complaints reported to festival operations across the entire 3-day weekend
- Zero OSHA or health department issues — The local health inspector visited on Day 2 and gave full approval

📍 Getting to the Venue Area
The festival took place at a large open-air venue located east of downtown Orlando, approximately 25 minutes from the Orlando International Airport.
